Bible Talks is a ministry led by Pastor Joel Lucas DaSilva in Alberta.
Its mission is to build a strong community of faith and service, inspiring people of all ages to live fuller, more meaningful lives. By fostering healthy, engaging relationships and creating opportunities to serve, this ministry seeks to unite those who see Jesus as a source of light and goodness.
We believe that every person has a deep need for belonging, acceptance, purpose, and meaning. That’s why we encourage our friends and community to live out these values in ways that bring mutual blessing: to both those who give and those who receive.
What We Believe
As Seventh-day Adventists—a Christian faith community committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Bible—we believe in the Trinity: God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We affirm that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
We honor the Sabbath, the seventh day of the week, as a sacred time for rest and worship, and we uphold all Ten Commandments given by God. Our faith emphasizes healthy living, personal spiritual growth, service to others, and the soon return of Jesus Christ. With hope in our hearts, we seek to share God’s love with the world.
